Missing the rising sun since Little Boy

As Japan continues to struggle with the burden of pre- and post-war history, I decided to take up the much taboo-ed issue from the perspective of a generation that had had the baton passed down from generations before.
Contemporary Japan started from the dropping of Little Boy and is still continuing on the same trajectory. That trajectory is hard to define, steeped in the dark history of war, proud of its economic miracle, complacent in the status quo.
